Package Overview
Himachal Pradesh is India's mountain heartland — a state of snow-capped peaks, sacred rivers, ancient monasteries, hill station charm, and adventure at every turn. From the colonial elegance of Shimla to the bohemian backpacker scene of Kasol, from the Buddhist monasteries of Dharamsala to the adventure capital of Manali — Himachal has something for every kind of traveller.
Our 5-night package covers the essential Himachal circuit. You'll start in the pleasant hill town of Shimla, pass through the riverside hamlet of Kasol in the Parvati Valley (beloved by trekkers and nature lovers), and end in Manali — with its snow peaks, river crossings, and gateway to Rohtang Pass.
All road transport is in comfortable AC vehicles. Our experienced mountain drivers know these roads intimately. The package is designed for first-time Himachal visitors seeking a comprehensive overview without the exhaustion of a rushed itinerary.
Best months: October–December and March–June. Summer (April–June) is ideal for snow activities. Winter (December–February) brings snowfall but some roads close.

Must-Visit Places
Top spots you cannot miss on this trip
Shimla — Mall Road & Jakhu Temple
The former British summer capital with a charming Victorian Mall Road and the 2km ridge promenade. Jakhu Temple (2,455m) is a 1-hour trek above the Mall with a 33m Hanuman statue and panoramic valley views.
Ride the historic Shimla toy train (narrow gauge) from Kalka — a UNESCO World Heritage railway with 102 tunnels through the Shivalik hills. Book ahead on IRCTC.
Kasol & Kheerganga Trek
The hippie hamlet on the Parvati River, surrounded by pine forest and Himalayan peaks. The 13km trek to Kheerganga (2,950m) ends at natural hot springs overlooking a snow-capped panorama.
Kheerganga hot spring is best visited early morning before trekkers arrive. Register at the Kasol forest office before trekking.
McLeod Ganj & Dalai Lama Temple
The "Little Lhasa" — home of the Dalai Lama and the Tibetan government in exile. The Namgyal Monastery, Tibetan market, and the Triund trek are the main draws. The Friday Dalai Lama teaching (when in residence) is open to all.
Check the Dalai Lama's teaching schedule at dalailama.com. Pre-registration is required. The monastery prayer hall is open daily at 6am.

Travel Tips
Expert advice before you go
October is the best Himachal month — crystal clear post-monsoon skies, snow-capped peaks visible, autumn colour in the forests.
Shimla Toy Train (Kalka–Shimla) must be booked 30 days ahead — it fills up in season. Book on IRCTC website.
Roads in Himachal are narrow and winding — motion sickness medication is essential for those prone to car sickness.
Mobile networks are patchy in valleys — BSNL works more widely than Jio/Airtel in remote areas. Download offline maps.
