Package Overview
Japan is unlike anywhere else on Earth — a country where 1,400-year-old Buddhist temples stand alongside futuristic robot restaurants, where bullet trains arrive to the second, and where every meal (from a ₹150 convenience store onigiri to a Michelin-starred kaiseki dinner) is prepared with extraordinary care. It is one of the safest, cleanest, and most fascinating countries in the world.
Our 7-night circuit covers Japan's essential highlights. Tokyo (the world's greatest city — Shibuya crossing, Shinjuku, Akihabara, Harajuku, Asakusa temple) → Mt. Fuji (day trip to Kawaguchiko, Japan's most iconic view) → Kyoto (the cultural heart — 17 UNESCO World Heritage Sites, geishas, bamboo groves, tea ceremony) → Nara (deer that bow to you, the world's largest bronze Buddha) → Osaka (Japan's food capital, Dotonbori, street food paradise).
Best time to visit: March–April for cherry blossoms (sakura season), October–November for autumn colours (koyo). Summer (June–August) is hot and humid. Winters (December–February) are cold but beautiful with snow. Japan is excellent year-round — each season has its own magic.

Must-Visit Places
Top spots you cannot miss on this trip
Fushimi Inari Shrine — Kyoto
10,000 vermilion torii gates winding up the forested Mount Inari behind Kyoto. The famous tunnel of gates stretches 4km to the summit — most people only walk the first 30 minutes, missing the empty upper trails.
Arrive at 6am — the lower gates are already crowded by 8am. Hike to the top (90 minutes) for the empty upper trails and city views.
Mt. Fuji — Hakone Viewpoint
Japan's iconic 3,776m perfectly-shaped volcanic cone — visible on clear days from Hakone's Owakudani valley, Lake Kawaguchi, and the Shinkansen. December–February gives the best visibility.
Check the Fuji visibility forecast (fujisan.ne.jp) the night before — cloud cover hides the summit 60% of the time. Lake Kawaguchiko at dawn is the most iconic viewpoint.
Shinjuku & Harajuku — Tokyo
Shinjuku's neon-lit nightlife streets, the incredible Shinjuku Gyoen garden, and Harajuku's Takeshita Street for Japan's famous youth fashion subcultures. The Meiji Shrine is 2 minutes from Harajuku station.
Tokyo's convenience stores (7-Eleven, FamilyMart) have exceptional food — onigiri, katsu sandwiches, hot ramen. Some of Japan's best quick meals cost ₹100–200.
Experiences & Activities
What you'll do on this trip
Tsukiji Outer Market Breakfast — Tokyo
The world's most famous fish market outer section — still operating daily. Ultra-fresh tuna sashimi, sea urchin, and tamagoyaki (egg rolls) for breakfast from stalls that open at 5am.
Arashiyama Bamboo Grove — Kyoto
Walk through a towering grove of bamboo stalks that filter sunlight into an otherworldly green haze. Adjacent: the Tenryu-ji Zen garden (UNESCO) and the Okochi Sanso villa garden.
