India's Most Scenic State
Kerala Tour Package
Munnar · Alleppey Backwaters · Thekkady · Kovalam — God's Own Country in 6 Days
Starting from
₹15,999 /person
Package Overview
Kerala — "God's Own Country" — is India's most breathtakingly beautiful state. Emerald tea estates rolling across misty hilltops, serene backwater canals lined with coconut palms, pristine beaches where the Arabian Sea meets golden sand, and dense forests teeming with elephants and rare birds. Kerala is a destination that genuinely earns its reputation.
Our 5-night Kerala package covers the four essential experiences: the cool highlands of Munnar with their endless carpets of tea gardens, a night on a traditional Kerala kettuvallam (rice boat houseboat) gliding through the famous Alleppey backwaters, the wildlife of Thekkady's Periyar Tiger Reserve, and the golden beaches of Kovalam and Varkala.
Kerala is also India's wellness capital — Ayurvedic massages, yoga retreats, and traditional cooking classes are woven into the itinerary. The food alone (sadya feast, appam with stew, Malabar biryani, fresh kingfish curry) makes the trip worthwhile.
Pay ₹4,000 advance to confirm. Free cancellation up to 10 days before departure.

Must-Visit Places
Top spots you cannot miss on this trip
Alleppey Backwaters
A 900km network of canals, lakes, and lagoons behind the Kerala coast — navigated by traditional rice boat houseboats through coconut-palm villages, duck farms, and lotus ponds. The most iconic Kerala experience.
Insist on the narrow canal routes (not the open Vembanad Lake) — the 4-foot-wide waterway with village life on both banks is the real Kerala backwater experience.
Munnar Tea Estates
Rolling hills at 1,600m altitude carpeted in a perfect geometric grid of tea bushes — the Kannan Devan estate alone covers 25,000 acres. Eravikulam National Park (Nilgiri Tahr habitat) and Mattupetty Lake are nearby.
Visit the KDHP Tea Museum in Munnar town for the fascinating manufacturing process. Buy single-origin Kannan Devan tea directly from the estate shop — far superior to hotel gift shops.
Periyar Tiger Reserve — Thekkady
A 777 sq km wildlife sanctuary around the Periyar Lake. Boat safaris cross the lake through submerged forest, watching elephants, gaur, and deer come to the water's edge at dawn.
The 7am boat safari gives the best wildlife sightings. Book through the Forest Department (not private operators) for the official KTDC launch.
Kovalam Beach — Lighthouse Beach
Kerala's most popular beach — a crescent cove with a working lighthouse at the southern end. Calm waves, coconut-palm shaded sand, and Ayurvedic massage parlours lining the beach road.
Swim only between the lifeguard flags — the northern end (Hawah Beach) has strong currents. The lighthouse climb (₹25) gives panoramic views over the whole crescent.
Experiences & Activities
What you'll do on this trip
Overnight Houseboat — Alleppey
Sleep on a traditional Kerala rice boat converted to a houseboat — with bedroom, sundeck, and a private chef cooking fresh Kerala seafood from the morning market.
Authentic Kerala Ayurveda Treatment
A 90-minute Abhyanga (four-hands oil massage) and Shirodhara (continuous warm oil stream on forehead) session at a certified Ayurvedic centre — not a tourist spa.
Kathakali Dance Performance
Watch Kerala's classical dance-drama live — performers in elaborate 3kg face paint and costumes re-enacting stories from the Mahabharata and Ramayana. Arrive 30 minutes early for the make-up demonstration.
Travel Tips
Expert advice before you go
October–February is the best Kerala season (post-monsoon, clear skies, calm sea). June–September is monsoon — dramatic but some activities restricted.
Kerala cuisine is among India's finest — try sadya (banana-leaf feast), karimeen pollichathu (fish wrapped in banana leaf), prawn moilee, and puttu with kadala curry.
Kerala has India's best public transport — KSRTC buses connect all major towns efficiently and cheaply. Auto-rickshaws use meters here (unlike most Indian states).
Houseboats vary enormously — avoid the cheapest options (poor hygiene and food). Budget ₹8,000–15,000/night for a clean, well-maintained vessel.
The Periyar boat safari must be booked at the Forest Department counter the day before — it fills up by 6am on the day.
Kerala is India's most literate state with excellent English — communication is rarely a barrier anywhere.
